Bossard started her career in the commercial seafood industry at the age of 1999, after she began working aboard the F/V Sunset, a 65' halibut-schooner, which has become a into a salmon tender for Murat Aritan, who has been a commercial fisherman since 1993. Bossard, who is married to Aritan and has joined their teams to take over their businesses. Both of them are in favor of conserving resources and maximizing the profits. Otolith is an independent wholesale distributor of seafood founded in Philadelphia in 2007 by a now-mother of two kids, Bella aged 3 and Andre age 1. In 2007, Bossard, a mother of two children Bella, age 3, and Andre 1, and returning to Philadelphia from her native Canada opened otolith as a direct market wholesale seafood distributor.
